About 5 years ago, I went to an island to live and teach for a year---hardest, worst and best year of my life =P While I was there, I got to know some awesome people that shared in the hardships. I remember one particular day, I more or less had a meltdown over some blank-Sorry-Miss-I-didn't-study science tests and who but Ms. Vela came in and saw me. Later that day, I got a post-it note detailing that I was needed after school to get together for beverages and we took some much needed time to decompress and kick back with a couple of the other girls. Fantastic therapy!

It just so happened that she was to tie the knot in Atlanta, and Lorenna (one of the other teachers) would be in her wedding party! It was enough in my neck of the woods for me to take part in the day as well and I couldn't have been more excited! =D

Not only was it awesome to witness a fantastic and completely adorable union, but it was priceless to get to see the girls again.
